• Operate across a wide range of temperatures without changing the bath fluid

What Makes PRESTOs Different & Why It’s Ideal for Temperature Control Applications

PRESTOs solve problems that other temperature control units can’t. The closed-system design allows customers to push their testing and research while accelerating their reaction times.

PRESTO’s cold-oil overlay technology allows the user to exceed the fluid flashpoint, which can not be done safely in an open bath system. It also allows the user to operate at sub ambient temperatures without moisture accumulation in the bath fluid.

Additionally, the PRESTO features a three-chamber design that separates the pump, heating, and cooling zones, leading to smaller internal fluid volumes and much faster heat-up and cool-down times.

The magnetically coupled pump eliminates potential leaks that occur with a shaft seal. The pump also has a pressure sensor and control mode to safeguard sensitive applications, such as glass reactors. With the PRESTO in pressure control mode, you know that the pressure will never exceed your pressure limits.

PRESTOs also offer many input/output communications making data capture, data logging, and remote control through a computer easy.

More Control or Glass Reactors

When using a glass reactor, it’s essential to know what’s going on in that reactor. The PRESTO provides Pt100 sensor capabilities to monitor temperatures within the glass vessel and features integrated pressure control to protect the glass reactor from exceeding its pressure limits. The PRESTO also incorporates band limits to improve your time to temperature. The PRESTO monitors the temperature difference between the jacket and the internal reactor and adjusts accordingly, putting less stress on your glass vessel and improving your time-to-temperature.
