Some JULABO units are specified to 230V power. Will they operate on 208V?
Yes. The lower voltage will not impact refrigeration cooling power.
Heating power will reduce with the 208V power supply; e.g. a unit with 3 kW heating @ 230V will have ~2.5 kW @ 208V.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is NOT true for the 208V specific Presto’s (A/W40, A/W80 – voltage code .14) – for those units 228V is the maximum allowed and voltages higher than that will cause warnings and alarms on the units.
