Introduction to temperature limits in JULABO heating circulators

Mark Diener, senior product manager for JULABO USA, discusses temperature limits in JULABO’s heating circulators. You’re probably familiar with boiling water on a stovetop, but if you’re using water as a heat transfer liquid in your JULABO circulator, you don’t want to boil it. Instead, you want to make sure you adjust the over-temperature safety setting to below 100°C. All of JULABO’s heating circulators have a built-in over-temperature safety limit. So, if you’re using a flammable heat transfer fluid, all you have to do is set the temperature below the fluid’s flashpoint to eliminate any safety concerns. If you have any questions about your circulator or fluid heating limits, give us a call or send us a direct message.
