In this “Question Mark” video about the cannabis workflow, JULABO product manager Mark Diener discusses how to use the FL7006 chiller to remove ethanol after winterization. Once you have an extract, you’ll want to winterize it to remove unwanted plant byproducts such as fats, lipids, and waxes. After that filtration process, you’ll need to remove the remaining ethanol by rotary evaporation or vacuum distillation This distillation process requires a large chiller such as the FL7006.
